Your chance to speak up about I-41 expansion project coming up online on Sept 23

ASHWAUBENON - The state Department of Transportation (DOT) Northeast Region office has scheduled an online public involvement meeting to discuss options for the proposed I-41 project between Appleton and De Pere.

The online YouTube Live meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday, September 23, beginning at 5 p.m. with a live presentation followed by a question and answer period

The purpose of the meeting is to provide updates and gather public input on the proposed project including mainline and interchange alternatives, potential community and resource impacts and proposed project schedule.

People will be able to share their questions or comments during the meeting via YouTube Live.

They can also submit questions via email to DOTDTSDNERI41@dot.wi.gov before or during the virtual meeting. Questions would be answered publicly by DOT staff on the video stream following the formal online presentation.

Anyone unable to access the meeting documents online or participate in the YouTube Live presentation should contact I-41 Communications Manager Melissa Kok at 920-492-5743 and arrangements will be made to share the information in another format. People are deaf or hearing impaired and who require an interpreter may request one by contacting the Wisconsin Telecommunications Relay System
