BRILLION - Brillion students will return to class on Monday, Aug. 24, more than one week prior to the scheduled start date.
The school district received permission from the state Department of Instruction (DPI) to start school one week earlier than what is typically permitted under state law.
Madison had previously told The Brillion News the earlier start time was for relationships between students and staff, particularly if the year has to begin with virtual learning.
