Fatal crash in Town of Brillion

A 32-year-old Manitowoc man died in a traffic accident in the Town of Brillion shortly after 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a two-car crash at the intersection of CTH K and CTH PP in the Town of Brillion at 7:33 p.m. A preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle traveling westbound on CTH K struck a vehicle traveling southbound on CTH PP.

Westbound traffic on CTH K is controlled by a stop sign at CTH PP. The driver of the southbound pickup truck was a 33-year-old male from Green Bay. He was transported via ambulance with minor injuries.

he driver of the westbound car was a 32-year-old male from Manitowoc. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Anyone that witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office The names of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family.
