First time in school history: Lions are regional champs

BRILLION – The Brillion softball team earned a regional championship for the first time in school history on Thursday night. They defeated Chilton at home 9-6 in a competitive game.

The top-seeded Lions will host the winner of Friday afternoon’s game between #2 Valders and #3 Southern Door in a sectional game on Tuesday, May 29.

The Lions defeated New Holstein 7-2 on Wednesday in the regional semifinal.

Thursday’s game was originally scheduled for Friday, but moved up to avoid any weather conflicts.
