GREENLEAF – The Greenleaf Firefighter's group will celebrate its 100th annual picnic with two events.

On Tuesday, July 12, at 7 p.m., they will present “Greenleaf, living life on the (L)edge” at the Wrightstown High School auditorium. The PowerPoint presentation containing over 350 slides will look at the evolutionary process of the community from an unbroken wilderness, to Day’s Mill then into Greenleaf.

The celebration continues Saturday, July 16 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Fireman’s Park located at 1588 Fair Road in Greenleaf.

At 12:30 p.m., witness a live fire demonstration of how a tiny flame on a chair engulfs an entire room in just two minutes. Registration for the Cornhole tournament begins at 1 p.m. and the bucket brigade at 4:30 p.m. Kids can enjoy a bounce house, games and a chance to spray water at a simulated house fire.

A DJ will play favorite tunes during the day with live music by “Avenue 55” beginning at 7 p.m.

An incredible fireworks show will be shot off at dusk with a rain date the following evening on Sunday, July 17.

Food including the group's renowned chicken booyah and infamous burgers will be served throughout the day. To stay in touch with the two events,
