Hilbert village board meets December 8

HILBERT - The Hilbert Village Board, which normally meets on the second Tuesday of the month, will hold its regular December meeting on Wednesday, December 8, at 7 p.m. at the municipal building at 26 North Sixth Street.

Most of the issues on the agenda are routine. Those that are not routine include:

• Pay for village employees who are required to attend village meetings

• Request by Public Works to purchase a new tractor

• Request to grant a policy exception to the volunteer fire department to have alcohol at its annual meeting.

• Consider an end of year bonus for village employees.

The meeting is held in public and an agenda item gives citizens an opportunity to address the village board prior to trustees taking action on any agenda action items.
