HILBERT – With a potentially dangerous ice storm bearing down on eastern Wisconsin on Monday afternoon, the Hilbert Board of Education moved its meeting from Monday evening to the evening of Wednesday, February 21, at 6 p.m.
Among the items up for discussion are first readings of policies on weapons and on homeless students. The board is also expected to decide on the music department’s request for a trip to New York City for the band and choir in June.
The Wrightstown School Board will meet at Wrightstown Elementary School, also at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, and its agenda includes the topic of student mental health, and weapons on school premises. The board will also look at new enrollment projections at a time when two of the district’s three buildings are at capacity.
BASKETBALL POSTPONED A DAY
Monday night’s schedule North Eastern Conference boys’ basketball game – Waupaca at Wrightstown – was rescheduled for Thursday, February 20, at 7 p.m. at the Wrightstown High School Field House.
