On Wednesday, June 16, the Brillion School Board held a special meeting and voted 4-2 to immediately drop the district's mask requirement.
The 4 p.m. meeting took 16 minutes.
The Brillion School Board's regular June meeting is set for 7 p.m. on Monday, June 21 th the elementary/middle school building.
At 6 p.m. that evening, at the Wrightstown School Board meeting, about 20 people showed up, most calling for an end to the asking requirement.
Others spoke against the teaching of critical race theory in the schools, and the bathroom accommodations for a transgender student. The school board did not take any action.
On Monday, June 21, The Hilbert School Board meets at 6:30 p.m., with a discussion of operations under COVID ("Our Pathway Forward") on the agenda.
The Reedsville School Board also meets at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21, at the high school, with the COVID-19 response plan on the agenda for action.
