The Brillion News
It was a special night in Brillion on Saturday night.
The Brillion boys' basketball team won its first regional title since 2015 by beating Southern Door 52-41.
It was a close game throughout but the Lions pulled away late in the game with stellar defense and free throw shooting.
Hunter Krepline led the team with 12 points. Parker Braun scored nine of his 11 points in the second half. Jeremy Lorenz added 10 points.
The Lions had advanced to Saturday's regional by beating Kewaunee on Friday night.
