MANITOWOC - The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for Cheryl A. Edwards, 51 years of age.
She was serving a six-month jail term for Fraud Against a Financial Institution, (state statute 943.82(1)) at the time she failed to return to the jail on February 26.
Edwards was on the Electronic Monitoring Program and had been instructed to report back to the jail but failed to do so. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Her last known permanent address was in the 500 block of North Ninth Street in the City of Manitowoc.
The sheriff's department has tried for several weeks to locate Edwards, without success. Now deputies are asking for the public's assistance.
