Update: The Brillion News received a notification that the man was 30-years-old.
BRILLION - A 32-year-old Menasha man died in an accident at Ariens Nordic Center on Friday night, the Brillion Police Department said in a press release.
The man fell and struck his head. The Brillion Police Department, Calumet County Sheriff's Office, the Brillion First Responders, the Brillion Fire Department, Gold Cross Ambulance and Potter Fire Department all responded to the accident at around 5:40 p.m.
It was reported on Friday night by WGBA-TV (NBC26) that the man was skateboarding, which is not one of the activities permitted at Ariens Nordic Center.
The accident happened at the same time there was a 10K roller ski race series event at the venue.
The family requested the department did not release the name of the person at this time. The Brillion Police Department sent its condolences.
