WRIGHTSTOWN –  Dairy farmers will have to opportunity to talk with Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Secretary Sheila Harsdorf and State Representative André Jacque about recent challenges to the dairy industry at the Wrightstown Village Hall Community Room on Wednesday, June 6 at 11 a.m.

Earlier this month, several local dairy producers were informed they would no longer be suppliers to Arla Foods’ Hollandtown Dairy. Farmers who are affected by this decision or other uncertainties in the industry are encouraged to attend.

Secretary Harsdorf will listen to the concerns of local farmers, and discuss potential solutions both at the state and local level. Rep. Jacque, R-De Pere, will moderate the event.

Questions can be directed to Jacque’;s office at 608-266-9870 or toll free at 888-534-0002 or email at Rep.Jacque@legis.wi.gov
