Ann “Annie” Marie Waldecker, 67, youngest daughter of the late Francis and Katherine (Schmitt) Waldecker was born on January 22, 1959, in Green Bay and passed away on January 22, 2026, on her birthday. She grew up in Brillion, WI, and attended St. Coletta’s of Wisconsin in Jefferson, WI, from ages 6 – 12 years old where Ann made her first Holy Communion. She attended and graduated from Brillion High School Special Education program. Ann worked at New Hope in Chilton in the early 70’s to the early 80’s. Ann was employed with BARC Industries/Aspiro from 1984 until 2024. She was a resident at Innovative Services at Jefferson Hall, Victoria AFC and Charity AFC. From 2024 until Ann’s passing, she resided at Eden Vista Memory Care Unit in Allouez, WI.

Annie had a cheerful bright spirit who always loved to attend a celebration or a party with beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings and house mates, especially with pizza and any desserts. She loved reading Little House on the Prairie books or watching television programs like Lawrence Welk or Highway to Heaven. Ann had a deep Catholic faith and loved to attend Mass and sing hymns loudly along with the responses like, “With your Spirit,” also just as loud and a tick too late. Annie’s parents wouldn’t let her be excluded from any event they were invited to; if Fran and Kay were invited, Annie was invited too.

Annie adored her time with siblings, breakfast with strawberry pancakes, whipped cream and hot cocoa. She dearly loved her nieces and nephews and was always looking for hugs and kisses or would play games like uno or memory.

Annie will be sadly missed by her siblings, Karen (Jim) Genrich, James (Patti) Waldecker, and Mark (Mary) Waldecker; nieces and nephews, Megan (John) Genrich-Grant, Eric (Emily) Genrich, Mallory Genrich and fiance’ Bethany Chandler, Francis Waldecker and Mark Lee Waldecker; grand nieces and nephews, Adriannah, Isadora, and Genevieve Popkey, Henry and Amelia Genrich, Ava and Addie Grant, and Eli Rosatti.

In addition to Ann’s parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Becca Waldecker.

Visitation for Ann will be held at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 710 N. Baird St. on Saturday, January 31, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jose Lopez officiating. Ann will be entombed at Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy please make donations to Aspiro in honor of Ann.

The family extends a sincere thanks to Breanna and other care givers at Eden Vista, Tracey at St. Croix Hospice along CNA’s Kristin and Ava, and Chaplain Clive for all of the compassion and care given to Ann and her family.
