OBITUARY: Arlene A. Clark

Arlene A. Clark, age 91, a resident of Brillion West Haven, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

She was born on December 4, 1926 in the town of Stockbridge, daughter of the late Richard and Ella (Heyn) Totzke.  Arlene worked at the Brillion Iron Works until her retirement in 1989. She had many interests including genealogy research, knitting, crocheting, and ceramics. She was an avid reader and a collector. She was most passionate about traveling and collecting bells and the many friends met along the way. Arlene was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Appleton.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Bonnie) Smith, Hervey Smith and Kristine Smith, step children, Donald(Kathy) Gotter and their family, Lois (Roger) Schwahn and their family, Connie Clark, Bill (Sue) Clark and their family, Carol (Tom) Titzkowski and their family, a sister-in-law, Marion Totzke and other relatives and friends. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Robert Smith, Clarence Gotter and Starr Clark, a step son Dennis Gotter, 3 brothers, 1 sister and their spouses.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace United Church of Christ in Brillion. The Rev. Tom Williams will officiate.  Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. The visitation will continue on Monday morning at the church from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m.  Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com
