Carol J Krueger, age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday April 24th at Brillion West Haven. Carol was born on July 6, 1939, daughter of the late Harry & Ellen Wenzel.

She graduated from Reedsville High School in 1957, then began her career as a keypunch operator at Manitowoc Aluminum Specialty. She later married the love of her life, Victor, and together they built a life rooted in love and dedication to their family. Carol became a full-time mom to their three beautiful children—Wendy, Mark, and Michelle—a role she cherished deeply. When her children were older and in school, Carol began a new chapter as a bus driver for Brandt Buses, where she served the community for 35 dedicated years before retiring. She took pride in her work and in the many students and families she came to know along the way. Carol was also deeply involved in her community. As a dedicated member of the Reedsville Athletic Association, she and Vic helped revive the softball program by organizing leagues and tournaments that brought the community together and created opportunities for many young athletes to play. In her free time, Carol loved playing cards, especially sheepshead and cribbage—and rarely passed up the chance to sit at the table with family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping, reading, and spending time outdoors mowing lawns. Whether tending the ball fields, the cemetery, or her own yard, she found peace, joy, and pride in caring for the spaces around her.

Carol is survived by her children: Wendy (Bill) Mohr of Neenah, Mark (Lori) Krueger of Brillion, Michelle (Dale) Brown of Green Bay. Grandchildren: Ryan, Michaela Mohr, Sheila (Brock) Miller, Bailey (Mykela) Krueger, Maccoy Krueger, Katie Brown. Great–Grandchildren: Brinley & Colton Miller; Aurelia , Renold & Arlina Krueger Nieces, Nephews, other relatives & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Victor & Grandson Travis Brown. Her mother & father-in-law: George & Helen (Reinhold) Krueger Siblings & in-laws: Vernaye (Ed) Gibbs, Bob (Kathy) Wenzel. Brother in laws & sister in-laws: Marne & Beatrice Krueger, Merline & Eileen Krueger, Harland & Doris Krueger. A nephew Marne Lee Krueger, and a niece Sally Gibbs.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday May 5th at Faith United Methodist Church, Brillion. The family will greet relatives & friends from 9:30am until the time of service. Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, is assisting the family. Carol will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her strong community spirit, and the joy she found in the simple moments of life. Her kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We would like the Thank the staff at Brillion West Haven & St. Croix Hospice for their care & compassion given to Mom during her stay there.
