Obituary: David J. Geiger (Creature)

David J. Geiger (Creature), age 65, a Brillion resident, entered the arms of the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2023 surrounded by family.

Creature was born in Green Bay on February 5, 1958 to Katherine (Preston) Geiger and the late Bernard Geiger. During his senior year of high school, David started to work at Ariens Company in Brillion. He was a loyal employee there for 43 years. Upon retirement, he assisted his brothers at Tri County Farms with harvesting their crops. Creature will be remembered for his sense of humor and the massive energy he brought to a room. David loved to crappie fish, ride atvs, play foosball, go to the restaurant for breakfast, and to socialize at the local watering hole. He was known to many as the Wheelie King, always running miles with his motorcycle. He was very proud of both his sons and enjoyed his first airplane trip to Arizona with his son David for wrestling.

David is survived by his sons: Jake (Nikki) Geiger, Davie Geiger; his mother: Katherine Geiger; two brothers: Patrick (Kim), Bernard “Buddy” (Brenda); two sisters: Sharon (Michael) Van Lanen, Mary Kay (Steve) Gruett; a sister-in-law: Debbie Geiger; grandchildren: Elliana and Dylan Geiger; mother of Jake: Jean Ley Geiger and mother of Davie: Lisa Brick. Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to his father, Bernard, David was preceded in death by his son Jonathon and his brother Dean.

Funeral Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Asketon. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Father Brian Wideman and Deacon Ken Kabat. Friends may call at the church on Monday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated. The family would like to extend a thank you to the staffs at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Froedert Hospital for their care and compassion. The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Homes of Brillion & Reedsville are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
