OBITUARY: Dean Allan Koropov

Dean Allan Koropov, 51, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019, at The Sharon Richardson Community Hospice, after a courageous fight with cancer.

Dean was born on October 1, 1967 to Jill Eichorst in Milwaukee, WI. Dean spent his childhood in Brillion, WI. He attended schools in the Brillion School District and graduated from Brillion High School in 1985. Dean attended Fox Valley Tech where he received a degree in welding. Following graduation, Dean worked at Ameriquip for 1 year and then worked at Kohler Company for 30 years.

Dean loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cutting wood. He looked forward to “sap season” where you could find him gathering with friends to make maple syrup. Dean also loved riding his Harley, golfing, and snowmobiling.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Candice Koropov, (fiancé Jeremy Borth), granddaughter, Serena, brother, Daniel Koropov. He is further survived by other family and many friends. Dean will also be missed by his dogs, Dakota and Reuben, and cat Montana.

Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Jill Eichorst, and grandparents, Cora and Reuben Eichorst.

A celebration of Dean’s life will take place Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Meeme Town Hall, School Hill (15318 CTH X, Kiel WI) from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with a brief service at 11:30.

Heartfelt thanks go to Nancy and Joe Benny, who took such loving care of Dean and to his friends and family that helped him along this journey including Hank and Bill for the rides to many appointments. Thank you to Dr Battag , to the home hospice nurses from St. Nicholas Hospital and to the Sharon Richardson Community Hospice family.
