Delores J. Bastian, age 77, of Brillion, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, June 6, 2025 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Delores was born on November 3, 1947 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Earl & Lillian (Stebane) Boettcher. She was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1965. She then went on to further her education at Fox Valley Technical Institute, graduating with a degree in Secretarial Services. Delores married James “Jim” Bastian on May 8, 1971 in Forest Junction. They just celebrated 54 years of marriage. Delores was employed at Automotive Supply in Appleton and then Primary Care in Appleton. She enjoyed rummages sales, buying and participating in the Christmas Mission Box Donation Drive, shopping for the “deals and steals,” and being with her family.
Delores is survived by her husband Jim; one son: Brian; grandchildren: Eva, Grant, and Ryker, all of Brillion; two sisters: Joyce Berth of East Troy and Marilyn Boettcher of Brillion; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joel (Chris) Bastian of Sheboygan and John (Nina) Bastian of Manitowoc; other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother: Dennis Boettcher; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Herbert & Beatrice (Frederick) Bastian; and a sister-in-law: Kris Bastian.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Zion Church in Forest Junction. Officiating will be Rev. Justin Dietel. Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
