OBITUARY: Earl W. Tesch

Earl W. Tesch, age 87, of rural Brillion, passed away at his residence on April 30, 2021.



Earl was born on April 18, 1934 in Green Bay, son of the late Walter and Norma (Maile) Tesch. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1952. Earl married Bernice on July 23, 1959 at St. John Catholic Church in Seymour. The couple owned and operated a Dairy Farm in rural Brillion until retirement. Earl also worked at Equity for over 40 years. Earl was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to Timber Rattlers Baseball and Brillion High School sports events. He and Bernice also enjoyed going polka dancing in their younger years, playing cards, and visiting all of their friends and family. Family was so important to them. They truly cared about their family and always purchased Christmas gifts for all of their friends and family. He was also a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion.


Earl is survived by his wife of 62 years of Brillion; his sisters-in-law: Dolores VanBoxtel and Carol Palmer; nieces and nephews: Charles A. (Lori) Tesch, Sandy (Gary) Brandenburg, Deb (Richard) Kuchenbecker, Pam Schlender and special friend Pepper, Gloria Burt and special friend Dave, Barb (Rod) Hinz, Bev (Don) Schumacher, Carol (Ken) Puyleart; great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.


He is preceded in death his father-in-law and mother-in-law: William and Mary Arnoldussen; sisters and in-laws: Clarence (Loretta and Rita) Tesch, Ralph (Marcia) Tesch, Doris (Wilbert) Borchardt, Charles Walter Tesch, Sylvester VanBoxtel, and Fred Palmer; and other relatives.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Brillion. Officiating will be the Rev. Ross Henzi. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.


Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m.
