Gail L. Dieball, of Hilbert, died Thursday December 18, 2025 at Brillion West Haven Assisted Living. She was born December 20, 1952, the daughter of Erwin and Dorothy (nee Rademan) Dieball. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bruce and Mark Dieball and God Son John Zember. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Leah Dieball of Ashippun; Aunts, Marilyn Dieball of Hartland, Bernice Dieball of Colgate, and Joann Rademan of Waukesha; Uncle, Dick Winkelman of Waukesha; Aunt and Uncle, William and Ruth Rademan of Hartland; God Children, Christopher Hinkley of Chicago IL; Benjamin Dieball of Hartland; and Claire Mann of Deforest, many cousins, “Auntie” to many, other relatives & friends.
Gail knew she wanted to be a teacher from a young age, practicing on her little cousins and performing her own science experiments at home. She shared her faith in Jesus through teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at Zion Lutheran Church in Hartland. Her education included attending Arrowhead High School and earning her bachelor’s degree at UW Whitewater. Her first job out of college landed her at Hilbert Elementary, teaching 4th grade and science. She enjoyed it so much she remained there for 38 years touching hundreds of students’ lives before retiring. Gail enjoyed many sports including golf, playing league softball for many years and coaching girls high school basketball. She loved photography and traveling with her mother. She was an avid collector of many items throughout her life.
A visitation will take place at Zion Lutheran Church, 1023 E. Capitol Drive, Hartland from 10:00 a.m.-11:45 on Saturday, January 10, 2025. A funeral service will take place at noon with a luncheon following the service. Private committal. Memorials to Zion Lutheran Church or Hilbert Elementary School would be appreciated.
