On July 5, 1957, Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Marlene Prochnow, at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville.  They were blessed with 61 years of marriage, four children, six grandchildren, 11 great-, and two great-great-grands.  Jerry enjoyed having horses and playing polo, golfing, travelling, and cards (especially Sheepshead).  He was a faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church, and served in many ways.

Survivors include daughters Lauren (John) Spenner and Lane, and son Lon; sisters Patricia (Marvin) Krahn, JoAnn (Dick) Stelzer; brother-in-law Terry (Karen) Prochnow.  Jerry was preceded in death by Marlene, son Lance, his parents, parents-in-law Elmer and Gertrude Prochnow, many brothers- and sisters-in-law, and two grandsons.

Visitation will be at Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, Thursday, November 14, 10-12:00, with service to follow.  Entombment will take place at 2 p.m., Friday, November 15 at Knollwood in Manitowoc.
