Judith (Judy) Ann Eichhorst, 72, of Wayside, Wisconsin was called to her Lord and Savior on October 29, 2022 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on June 28, 1950 to Elaine (Meissner) and John “Jack” Lorrigan in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Judy was a graduate of Reedsville High School. She married Dale Eichhorst on April 28, 1972 at St. Mary’s Church in Reedsville, Wisconsin.

Judy began her working career at Leverenz Shoe Factory in Valders, Wisconsin where she worked alongside her mom and several sisters. In addition to working on the family dairy farm, Ju-Dale Dairy, she also worked at Ariens in Brillion for 26 years. She enjoyed a post-retirement career at Bud Willman’s restaurant in Manitowoc where she worked alongside her sisters, brother-in-law, nieces and nephew.

Judy was an avid gardener, with beautiful flower beds all around the yard. She also enjoyed going on bus trips and spending time with her “That’ll be good then” card club. More than anything, Judy enjoyed time with her family. For 30 years, Judy and her sisters traveled to Gurnee, IL for a weekend getaway. She loved watching her grandkids’ sporting events and frequent trips with her family. Family meant everything to her.

Judy is survived by her husband Dale. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of this year. Additionally, she is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Craig) Dellemann; and sons, Jason “Pete” (Tanya) Eichhorst; and David (Tina) Eichhorst, grandchildren: Tori and Tara Dellemann, Jacob, Zachary, Kailynn and Abby Eichhorst, Jordan and Jack Moser and Great-Grandson Leo Eichhorst. Service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kyle Wangelin presiding. Flowers are appreciated, but alternatively, the family would request donations in Judy’s name to CLC a non-profit organization focused on providing free support to cancer patients and their family members (www.cancerlegalcare.org).

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Umang Guatam (Vince Lombardi Cancer Center), Leah S. and the nurses of Aurora Hospice, Pastor Kyle and Nickel Funeral Home. The excellent care and support provided to Judy and her family will never be forgotten.
