Obituary: Lois M. Wicker

Lois M. Wicker, age 72, of Kaukauna, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 surrounded by her family.


Lois was born on January 31, 1951 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Lloyd and Florence (Loppnow) Kuchenbecker. She was a graduate of East DePere High School, class of 1969. Lois married her high school sweetheart Leland “Lee” Wicker on May 12, 1973 at Morrison Zion Church. Lois worked and was talented at many things. She worked as a Legal Secretary, Certified Tax Preparer, Realtor, and Broker throughout her life, and most recently owning and operating her tax service in Wrightstown. She had a big heart and helped others. But above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by her husband of 50 years, Lee of Kaukauna; their children and spouses: Len of Potter, Roger (Paris) of Middleton, and Rhonda (Aaron) Noldner of Little Chute; grandchildren: Caleb, Margaux “Jubilee,” Élodie Wicker and Olivia Noldner; siblings and in-laws: Richard “Dick” (Deb) Kuchenbecker of Lark, Bonnie (Ken) Isley of Morrison, Jim (Tess) Kuchenbecker of Eagle River, Judy (Joe) Mayer of Brillion, Robert “Bob” (Bonnie) Wicker of Kaukauna, Judy Wicker of Wrightstown, Mary (Richard) Geurts of Greenleaf, Denny (Mary) Wicker of De Pere, Janet Brosig of DePere, Nancy (Don) Platz of Menomonie; Bonnie (Larry) Sherrill of Denver, CO, and Joanne (Robert) Smits of Algoma; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Edward and Christine Wicker, in-laws: Paul Wicker and Ken Brosig, and nephews: Dan Wicker and Steve Platz.

Funeral Service were held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion. Officiating was Rev. Ross Henzi.

Friends called the Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Monday, June 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Visitation continued on Tuesday morning at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
