Mark Edward Moehr, age 68, of Brillion, died on Friday, March 22, 2024 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
He was born June 30, 1955, son of the late Albert & Virginia (Maertz) Moehr. As an analytical individual, Mark appreciated moments fixing things so that they could work for everyone. He took great pride in his time working at Ariens where he took this self taught skill and applied it in the production of parts. He later tended to Mar-La Cleaning Services that he operated with his sister until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion where he professed, cherished his faith and took comfort in all of the gifts that God had given him throughout his life. He was a man who cherished each and every moment with his family, especially his nieces and nephews who he would drop everything whenever they asked for his help with nearly anything. If there was ever a “job” to do, Mark would find a way to make it happen and passed this drive and desire to each and every one of his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his siblings: John (Linda) Moehr, Steve Moehr (Bill Ireton), and Laura (Ed) Reinke; a sister-in-law: Barbara Moehr, nieces & nephews: Ben (Joanne) Moehr, Chris (Rachel) Moehr, Liz Moehr (Dan Seaman), Robyn (Randy) Raddatz, TJ Moehr, Jenny (Russ) Harris, Matt (Vanessa) Reinke, Cindy (Duke) Cornelius, Scott (Jackie) Moehr, RC Moehr, Brooke (Shane) Ireton, Beth Ireton, Bryan (Val) Ireton; great-nieces and great-nephews: Sarah Alger, Ryan (Brooke) Alger, Ian Moehr, Connor Moehr, Erik Moehr, Ethan Moehr, Annabelle Opal, Elliot Moehr, Liliana Moehr, Caleb Moehr, Elia Moehr, Mike Horn, Parker Moehr, Avah Moehr, Havannah Moehr, Calvin Harris, Breckin Harris, Kaylee Reinke, Cole Reinke, Kylee Ireton, Jaycee Ireton, Lucas Ireton, Ethan Ireton, Alexander Ireton, Clementine Ireton, Steve (Pam) Cosby; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews: Emma Alger, Gavin Schakel, Shelby Miller, Kytara Miller, Bentleigh Miller, and Kashten Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Virginia; 2 brothers: Randy Moehr, Gerald Moehr; sisters-in-law: Sharon Moehr, Sharon Moehr, and Barbara Bertha Moehr; a niece: Jackie Moehr; and two nephews: Dave Alger and Corey Miller.
Funeral service will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (601 E. National Ave.) in Brillion with Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Thomas Fricke officiating. With a witty sense of humor, Mark would have found it ironic that his funeral was on April Fools Day. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Brillion. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 pm until 5:45 pm on Monday, April 1, 2024. At the time of the service and following, there will be a link available at wietingfuneralhome.com for those wishing to watch a live stream or archived recording of the service, or see pictures of the flowers and gifts given to the family.
Mark’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Agnes Hospital, along with his brother-in-law, Bill for all of the loving care that was given to Mark.
