OBITUARY: Paul J. Krepline

Paul J. Krepline, age 67, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.


He was born on August 9, 1954 in Manitowoc, son of the late Robert and Loretta (Knier) Krepline. Paul was a graduate of Reedsville High School, Class of 1972. On October 25, 1986, he married the former Debbie George at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. He was a lifelong farmer, raised on the family farm, that he continued to operate when his parents passed. He also worked at the Brillion Iron Works, Endries International, and most recently at Ariens Company until his retirement.

He was a member of the Rockea Hunting Club, Manitowoc Farm Bureau, and Holy Family Catholic Church, Brillion. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, coaching basketball, cheering on his family at events, watching his son play baseball and loving on his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Debbie of 36 years; their children: Jessica (Will) Pech, Chris (Brianne) Krepline, Sam (Tom) Brault; grandchildren: Marissa, Morgan, Madysen, Makena, Mason, Boe, Sadie, Noah and Aiden and one due in October 2022; and great grandchild: Grayson; his siblings: Lillian (Tom) Theroux, Maggie Krepline, Mary Seefeldt (fiancé Al Spoehr). Also surviving are in-laws: Melanie (Tony) Hills, David (Mary) Braun and Jeff Braun. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Loretta Krepline; his confirmation sponsor: Elmer Phipps; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Barb & Jerome “Jiggs” Braun; and sister-in-law: Kim George.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Pomeroy and Deacon Greg Van Thiel with burial at St. Mary Cemetery, Reedsville. The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022. A prayer service will conclude the visitation. Friends may also call Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Brillion.
