REEDSVILLE – The Reedsville girls’ varsity basketball team will have a new coach on the sideline for the 2019-20 season.

Bruce Budysz will not return as head coach. Budysz coached the girls’ team the last two seasons and compiled an overall record of 1-45.

The win under Budysz came on Feb. 9 of this year when the Panthers beat Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 49-45 in a Big East Conference Tournament game. Emily Cohan led the team with 10 points in the game.

Cohan, Emma Schneider, Rachel Peterson, Kylee Cook and Elizabeth Bubolz were the juniors on the team this season that could return next year. Lexi Wasmuth, Kaitlyn Taddy, Claire Bubolz and Whitney Wasmuth were senior players.

Heather Kiekhaefer served as an assistant coach under Budysz.
