WRIGHTSTOWN – Brown County is offering to give the Wrightstown County Park and boat landing to the Village of Wrightstown.

The 5.8 acre park includes parking for boat trailers and for single vehicles, a boat launch and dock – as well as significant shoreline. It is the home of Waterboard Warriors Water Ski Shows throughout the summer.

The county-owned park is below the village’s Mueller Park. Under the county’s proposal, the county would transfer the land to the village under a quit claim deed.

The Wrightstown Village Board will consider the idea at its meeting on Tuesday, February 27 at 6 p.m. at the village hall.

The board was originally scheduled to discuss the matter at its meeting on February 21, but there was no quorum of trustees and so the meeting was never convened.
