Prochnow sets new all-time record

REEDSVILLE – Ben Prochnow made history on Thursday night with a drive to the basket down the left baseline.
With the score, the senior guard is now the holder of the all-time scoring record in boys basketball.
Prochnow entered the night with 1,486 career points, 19 behind the all-time mark. He finished the night with 20 points for a career mark of 1,506, one ahead of the previous all-time leader Brennen Dvorachek.
Once he broke the record, Prochnow checked out of the game, which was a 74-31 win against Two Rivers that improved Reedsville to 16-1 overall this season.
Dvorachek held the mark since 2022. Prochnow has scored high numbers in his career, which started they year Dvorachek graduated. He’s averaging around 21 points per game this season to go with 10 assists a game.
