The Brillion News
It was football Friday night on September 7, and the biggest win was probably Reedsville shutting out Howards Grove 18-0 in The Big East Conference.
Last year, Howards Grove beat Reedsville 22-20, and finished 7-1 in conference. What a difference a year can make.
Elsewhere, Hilbert beat Kohler/Lutheran/Christian 41-6 in another Big East game, with reserves playing much of the second half, and with a running clock for the game’s final nine minutes.
At Clintonville, Wrightstown beat the host Truckers 34-0 in a North Eastern Conference game, and at Brillion, the Lions dropped a 35-0 game to Two Rivers in an Eastern Wisconsin Conference battle.
In the accompanying photo, Hilbert senior quarterback Grant Propson rushed behind his blockers. Propson scored the Wolves’ first TD on a 25-yard carry early in the second quarter of the game against K/L/C.
