REEDSVILLE - For the second season in a row, the Reedsville boys basketball team earned a regional championship.


It was an action-packed week for the Panthers. They beat Chesterton Academy 88-29 on Tuesday night to advance to the regional semifinal. In the semifinal against Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran/Providence Academy, the Panthers overcame an 11-2 deficit and won 73-61.


Oakfield upset top-seeded Central WI Christian 50-49 to advance to the final, so the Panthers got to host the final unexpectedly and won 63-54 on Saturday afternoon.


Zach Dvorachek led the way with 24 points. Camden Dvorachek recorded a dominant double double 24 points and 20 rebounds.


Reedsville will play in the sectional semifinal on Thursday, March 9, against second-seeded Heritage Christian in Fond du Lac.
