WAYSIDE – A woman with a Reedsville postal address died Wednesday when the car she was driving left County W, just north of the Brown-Manitowoc county line, and she was ejected.
It happened on November 21 at 4:50 p.m. Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the single vehicle roll-over crash on W, between Man-Cal Rd. and Stone Rd., in the Town of Morrison.
The vehicle had been traveling south on W when it left the roadway and rolled, causing the driver to be ejected. The driver, a 59 year old woman from Reedsville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Alcohol appears to be a factor along with the driver not wearing a seatbelt,” said sheriff’s Lt. Brad Brodbeck, in a press release. “There were no other occupants in the vehicle.”
The crash is under investigation by the Brown County Accident Reconstruction Team. No name will be released until all relatives have been notified.
