Volleyball, boys soccer play semifinals Thursday

TWO RIVERS - The Two River Washington girls' volleyball team opened the 2021 WIAA Division 2 tournament with a narrow win over visiting Wrightstown on Tuesday, October 19..

Two Rivers swept the set 3-0, with a total of 12 points making the difference.

The Purple Raiders beat the Tigers 26-24, 25-23 and 25-17 in a Tuesday evening D2 Regional Quarterfinal matchup.

T'Rivers advanced and will face Fox Valley Lutheran at FVL at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 21.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 21, SEMIFINAL GAME SCHEDULE:

WIAA Division 3 volleyball: #9 Cedar Grove-Belgium at #8 Reedsville, 7 p.m.; #11 New Holstein at #6 Brillion, 7 p.m..

WIAA Division 4 volleyball: #7 GB NEW Lutheran/Providence at #2 Hilbert, 7 p.m. (NEW Lutheran beat Tigerton 3-0 on Tuesday).

WIAA Division 4 boys soccer: #10 Kohler at #7 Wrightstown, 4 p.m.
