MADISON - Three Brillion wrestlers reached podium at the WIAA individual state wrestling championships this weekend in Madison.
Parker Spierings (113 pounds) took second place after he won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches to reach the championship match.
Colton Klug (144) took third place after he pinned Gabe Gerber (Ladysmith) in 2:49.
Zander Mueller (106) took fifth place after he beat Will Obermueller (Glenwood City) 11-4.
Ethan Hoyer (120), Jace Nicklaus (132), Sevanna Hoyer (138) and Weston Schmidt (165) also all competed at state for Brillion.
Tristen Verbeten (157) competed for Reedsville.
Gregory Hellendrung (106) and Olivia Hoefner (165) competed for Chilton/Hilbert.
