Tigers win regional title in overtime; Hazaert becomes all-time leading scorer

WRIGHTSTOWN – It took an extra four minutes in overtime but Wrightstown earned their third regional championship in the last four seasons with a 62-55 victory against Peshtigo on Saturday night.

Mayson Hazaert became the school’s all-time leading scorer. He surpassed Zac Haese’s 1,181 points. Hazaert now sits at 1,195 points.

Hazaert scored 28 in the win with 14 in the second half and four in overtime.

The Tigers will play Freedom in a sectional game on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Oconto Falls High School.
