MANITOWOC – Northeast Asphalt of Greenville will begin work next Monday on a project to resurface U.S. 151 from Valders to Manitowoc.
Governor Tony Evers gave final approval to the $4.6 million project on Tuesday.
The project includes 8.5 miles of the highway, with the work to be completed by the end of August. There will be some short-term, night road closures necessary, with message boards warning drivers in advance.
The projects includes recycling the existing asphalt, widening the shoulders from three feet to five, engraving shoulder/fogline rumble strips
