Wrightstown upsets A-F; Hilbert-Stockbridge routs TC

Hilbert-Stockbridge had a dominating game in WIAA Division 7 Level 1 football with a 55-22 win over Plainfield Tri-County on Friday at Hilbert Stadium.

Bennett Lau scored three rushing touchdowns, Jack Halbach and Karson Krueger each scored another and Caleb Delvaux played the wild card role again, returning a punt 82 yards for a TD. The Wolves host Elroy (Wis.) Royall this Friday. Royall beat New Lisbon 12-6 in 2OT.

At Adams on Friday, Wrightstown gave Adams-Friendship its first loss of the season in a Division 4 Level 1 playoff game. The Green Devils had a 20-19 lead until WHS senior Jon Gerrits (pictured) kicked a field goal with two seconds left.

Wrightstown senior RB Bryce Herlache had 285 yards rushing on 33 carries and scored all three Tigers’ touchdowns. Wrightstown faces Little Chute this Friday at 7 p.m. in a rematch of the first game of the year, which the Mustangs won, 26-18.
