BRILLION - Bellin Health will open a 15,990-square foot clinic on the Brillion Works site in early 2024.

Bellin Health, Brillion Works LLC and city representatives formally announced the plans in a groundbreaking event on Tuesday.

The health care clinic will be the largest ever in the city. It will open on the former site of the Brillion Iron Works, directly behind KinderCare's Brillion Early Learning Center on 235 East Ryan Street.

The facility will have 13 exam rooms with room to grow. Bellin representatives have listened to community feedback to carefully plan what the clinic will offer.

"We currently have primary care at our clinic now. We'll be continuing that. We'll also will be looking at mental health services, orthopedics and sports medicine. We'll be looking at cardiology services, and also our women and children's services," Bellin regional team leader Sherry LaFond said.

There will also be an emphasis on expanding technology. The waiting area will have the ability to have face-to-face, remote and kiosk check-ins.

Bellin has had a longstanding relationship in the city, so naturally it was the rumored healthcare partner for a long time, but not announced officially until Tuesday.

Dr. Julio deArteago was Brillion's long time family physician for more than three decades before he sold the business to Bellin Health Family Medical Center in 1994. Bellin has also maintained a relationship with the Brillion School District since the 1997-98 school year.

That relationship will soon get bigger.

"Many of our service lines that we have in our Green Bay market and elsewhere are coming to you in Brillion after listening to your information and your needs," LaFond said.
