Heraly first-team all-conference; multiple other Lions recognized

BRILLION – Brillion senior Marissa Heraly earned a first-team all-conference selection as a catcher in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference.

Heraly had a .400 batting average with 26 hits, 22 RBIs and seven doubles.

Freshman Bristol Foytik was named second-team all-conference as a pitcher. Foytik compiled a 6-3 starting record with 71 strikeouts.

Sophomore Lauren Kuchenbecker was a second-team selection at second base. Kuchenbecker had a .481 batting average with 37 hits, 22 RBIs and seven doubles.

Junior Lauren Hardy was a second-team selection as a center fielder. She tallied 25 hits, 10 RBIs, one home run and one double.

Senior Emily Degner was an honorable mention selection at shortstop. Lily Baxter was an honorable mention as a right fielder. Brynn Williams was an honorable mention as a left fielder.

Chilton senior catcher Karissa Juckem was named Player of the Year.
