Hilbert board to hold special meeting Wednesday

HILBERT – The Hilbert Village Board has called a special meeting for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at the village hall (26 N. Sixth Street).

The meeting includes:

1. A closed session review of an un-named public employee

2. Resignation of Ty Wollersheim as a public works employee and filling the position

3. Update from an arborist looking into the tree damage near DS Enterprises

4. Discussion of a request by Voices of Peace to upgrade Civic Park facilities.

Voices of Peace holds its annual two-day Gospel Fest music festival at Civic Park each August.

The meeting is open to the public, except for the closed session employee review. That is the first business item on the agenda. The agenda indicates that the board may take action following the employee review.
