OBITARY: Kilian Race Brault

Kilian Race Brault, 39 days young, of Brillion, passed away peacefully in the arms of his parents on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee.

Kilian was born April 25, 2021 at Theda Clark in Neenah, son of Kevin and Brooke (Hooyman) Brault. The world needed kindness, so it borrowed us Kilian. In his incredibly short time here, he nestled his way into the hearts of those who stumbled upon his story. He shared with us his courage, resilience, and determination. He taught us how to truly, without reservation, appreciate life. He brought out the good in people, and carried us thru one hell of an adventure. We love him for it. Loosing him only reiterated those lessons he brought to us, and he will live on forever - a true love story no one will ever forget. He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Brooke of Brillion; his sister, Amelia, also at home; grandparents: Victor and Ellen Brault and Donald and Sharon Hooyman; godmother and aunt Christie, her husband and Kilians uncle, Joe Kuhn; godfather and uncle: Luke Hooyman; aunt: Nanette Gerrits; cousins Charlie and Dawson Kuhn, and Hunter and Spencer Gerrits He was preceded in death by one uncle, Ryan Hooyman, and other relatives. There will be a benefit motorcycle ride for Kilian on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Gravity Park, 2571 Hickory Hills Road in Chilton. Ride will start at 12:00 NOON until 6:00 p.m. A visitation will be around 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., with a Luminary Release at the end of the event. Please join the family at the 'Race' track in celebrating the beautiful chaos that Kilian was and will forever be. The parents would like to extend a special thank you to everyone involved in caring for Kilian at Theda and Childrens Hospital. "This experience would not have been the amazing adventure it was without the incredible support extended to us from all involved. We will never be able to express our gratitude for the compassion, patience, and outstanding care that was provided to Kilian and ourselves. His team consisted of absolutely amazing people who didn't have to do all that they did, but selflessly cared enough to do it anyway. A million times, thank you." Online condolences may be made.

The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Homes of Brillion & Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
