OBITUARY: Anthony “Tony” Resch

Anthony “Tony” Resch, age 60, of Greenleaf, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021.

Tony was born on March 19, 1960 in Green Bay, son of the late Norman and Mary (Dugan) Resch. On September 8, 2012, he married his love Marylou Aguilon Jumaoas in Cebu, Lapu-lapu City, Philippines. Tony was a farmer his whole life, and he also worked at the Golden Basket for a time. He could fix anything and always was working on some type of project. In 2005, Tony was in a serious, nearly fatal motorcycle accident. His faith and trust in God are what brought him through, and they were as strong as ever to this day. He loved the Catholic Mass, the Latin traditional Mass and was devoted to God, Jesus Christ, Mother Mary. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Oratory Institute of Christ the King and the Latin Mass Association. He was also a member of the St. Michael Catholic Church St. Pius The X Group. Tony was a friend to all cultures, especially the Filipino and Mexican nationalities. He was very friendly and kind to many people. Tony and Marylou were best friends, he was her mentor, and he was a true family man. He was always there for her and the children, and he immersed himself in his role as a husband and father. He was a great Husband and Dad, and loved spending time with them and being with them wherever they would go. He was their everything!
