REEDSVILLE - For the third consecutive season, the Reedsville boys basketball team won a regional championship.

The Panthers blew out Florence 88-58 in the regional final on Saturday night. Reedsville opened the game with a 15-2 lead. Ben Prochnow scored 33 points with 12 assists. Logan Maertz scored 14.

The final game followed two dominant victories earlier in the week. The Panthers beat Valley Christian 95-51 in the quarterfinal on Tuesday and Goodman/Pembine 94-59 in the semifinal on Friday.

Dvorachek scored 18 points against Florence to go with 10 rebounds and nine assists.

Next up the No. 1 Panthers will meet No. 2 Lourdes Academy at Pulaski High School on Thursday, March 7, in the sectional semifinal.
