CHILTON –  Potential changes in immigration rules and enforcement policies under the Trump Administration could have a significant impact on employers who rely on immigrant labor for a portion of their employee force, including Wisconsin’s dairy farmers.

The situation will be the topic at a new Lunch n’ Learn program from the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW). It is designed to provide a focused review of the proposed policy changes and potential impacts. The luncheon program will be held in Chilton on July 19.

Erich Straub, an experienced immigration attorney, will present the latest information at the Seven Angels Restaurant in Chilton on Wednesday, July 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There is a charge and lunch is included.

The PDPW said this session will help dairy farmers better understand what is rhetoric, what is reality, and outline the risks for those who rely on immigrant labor.

Space is limited. To register, visit www.pdpw.org or call 1-800-947-7379.
