WRIGHTSTOWN – The wheels are moving fast on a new development that will initially see 40 riverside apartments built on the west bank of the Fox River, directly across the river from the village’s historic downtown business district.

At its April 4 meeting, the Wrightstown Village Board approved the purchase of three parcels of land on the west bank, and also approved an agreement with Midwest Expansion LLP for the luxury apartment project.

The initial phase, at a cost of over $4 million, will see a 40-unit complex built. The later phases could mean as many as 100 units.

The property is directly across the river from the business district. Both the site for the new development and the existing downtown business district are with the newly-created Tax Increment Financing District No. 5.

A complete story on this development will be featured in the April 12 print edition of THE BRILLION NEWS.
