Weber’s establishes ‘Brillion Lions pump’

BRILLION – Two cents of every gallon of gas pumped at the new Brillion Lions pump (pump #4) at Weber’s of Brillion will now be donated to the Brillion School District.

The gas pump closest to the road of the busy intersection of Main Street and Highway 10 is now decked out with the school’s colors and logo.

“We went through BP and got it approved … This is one of BP’s programs where you can vinyl one pump and choose who to donate it to,” Weber Oil General Manager Jill Jost said.

A record is kept for the pump and at the end of the month they add up the total and write a check to the school. The program through BP allows for any charity to be a recipient.

“I think schools are very important. They could always use more help,” Jost said.
